Cybermom Preschool Fun- Here are colorful and fun online puzzles and activities that develop number understanding, addition, subtraction and more for pre-school through 1st grade students.

Pre-Kng Teacher's Math Lesson Plans- Here are approaches to developmental Math concepts for the earliest learners that  can be adapted for   primary grades.

WebMath- Here is an Internet based math problem solver, equipped with an online "math-engine" that can instantly provide you with an answer to the particular math problem you may be working on. It provides the steps needed to solve a variety of problems ranging from everyday math to quadratic equations. This is useful for upper elementary through high school.

The Lemonade Stand- Based on the computer game of the same name, this Website is a refreshing way to learn business basics. Elementary students can use basic math and business skills to compete with other students.

Professor Freedman's Math Help- Although this Site is designed for college students, it contains information that is valuable for any aged student of math. Professor Freedman's Math Help" is a mixture of sound, humor, color, animation and graphics with lots of help for the "math anxious" student. Its aim is to give students a self-directed and entertaining way to learn basic math and algebra. The site includes tutorial lessons authored by students, math assignments, study skills tips, links to free tutors and learning style information -- all with really "cool" animation and music.

The KnotPlot Site- A visit to this site reveals the power of computing to  create images from formulas, and even to animate them. High School students will find links to many sites relating knots and mathematics.

Prime Numbers- In the context of history, and amplified by biographies of many master mathematicians, prime numbers are presented here for high school students. The ancient Greek mathematicians' discoveries and proofs introduce the study. Separate pages are devoted to Pythagoras, Euclid and

Allowance.net- This free website helps parents and children plan, organize, manage, and spend allowance payments. 

Change Maker- Count the change back from 1-100 dollars, find the correct answer and win points at this site. This is great for elementary grades learning to count change.

164 Currency Converter- This is a neat Webpage that converts any world currency into the equivalent value of another currency.

Moneyopolis- Students in grades 6-8 can learn math concepts in context of real-life situations. Students save, find a job, pay for living expenses, and plan for the future.  Lesson plans and activities are available for free.

What Good is Math?- Here are some real-life situations that require math skills. Students will be challenged to use their math problem-solving skills in several real-life situations.

Living On Your Own- Middle school students can use practical math solving everyday problems involving living expenses.

Kids Invest- Kids Invest is a comprehensive guide to the stock market, investing and money management. It is specifically designed for young people. The information on this site is separated according to age/grade level, containing activities for students from kindergarten to high school. There are sections for kindergarten to fourth grade, fifth through eighth grade, and high school.

Interactive Stock Market Learning Project- Complete with lessons, this is an interdisciplinary project specifically designed for middle school students and teachers.  This project revolves around an interactive stock market competition between classmates using real-time stock market data from the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.

Edu Stock Simulation- Edustock is an educational web page designed to teach young and old alike, what the stock market is, and how it can work for them. It includes tutorials and simulations on the stock market and how to pick good stocks. It also provides information on a select group of companies to help you start your research into what stock is going to make your fortune.

Interactive Stock Market Learning Project for K-12 - Designed for middle school students, this project revolves around an interactive stock market competition between classmates using real-time stock market data from the New York Stock Exchange. Stock Market  Lessons are integrated into other curricular areas and reproducible student worksheets are available. This is a great resource!

MainExchange- Young people can become involved in a simulation game of obtaining virtual money, researching real companies, and investing in the market. Players can win prizes! Extra educational materials are available for free.

Mathematics of Cartography- Designed for middle and high school students, this site will provide mathematical problems related to maps. There is map information and links to map sites, as well as lesson ideas for teachers.

Interdisciplinary Lesson Plans- This complete site offers lots of lessons that integrate other curricular areas with math.  Excellent math lessons are embedded into concept topics, suitable for middle primary to high school. GirlTECH links provide tons of great lessons embedding technology into the curriculum.

Fractals - Here are lots of fractal activities designed for upper elementary and middle school students. Classroom lessons for teachers are available, too.

Brain Teasers- Organized by grades 3-4, 5-6, and 7+,  this site provides 3 new brain teasers for each grade level each week. Links to other education place sites are included.

Countdown- This is an interesting site that allows visitors to calculate the number of seconds from one point in time to another. Calculate the number of seconds until the next millennium and the like.

Math Score- Resources, lessons, links and math organizations complete this great site. It provides a full math resource for teachers.

Studyworks- Cool Math and Science Sites- This Webpage contains links and website. descriptions to many valuable   and unusual middle and high school math and science sites.

A Homepage for New Math Teachers- This homepage was created to give new math teachers a few pointers and ideas to help with their teaching. It provides tips for writing a clear lesson, integrating mathematics, problem solving and classroom management.

Math For Kids- Problem Solving- Here are examples and  methods for solving 4th grade word problems. Post a word problem here, too. Word Problems for Kids contains word problems and strategies for grades 5-12.

WebMath- Organized by math problem, here is a giant resource for finding the methods for  attacking a variety of math problems. 

Math Forum- This site has links to Math resources by subject, grade level, math issues, math links and other information about math education. The Teacher's Place contains the best resources for teaching math at all levels. This space is not only for teachers, but has also been built in part by teachers. Student areas provide links by grade level. This is a great resource.

Eisenhower National Clearinghouse- This organization is dedicated to math and science educational reform. It provides research articles, program listings, frameworks, professional development exchange, and guidebooks. This site spotlights great classroom links, lessons and ideas. This is a good resource for educators.

MathlinePBS presents PBS presents concepts, challenges, math careers,  assessment info, teaching tips, math resources, listserves, staff development information, grant information and TV broadcasts related to K-12 mathematics.

Plane Math- Here are some great airplane related math activities, appropriate for middle grades, that include different levels of problem solving activities on topics like elapsed time, capacity, measurement, money and design engineering.  Some require the shockwave plugin.

Math Magic Project- This site provides strong motivation for students to use computer technology while increasing problem-solving strategies and communications skills. MathMagic posts challenges in each of four categories (k-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12) to trigger each registered team to pair up with another team and engage in a problem-solving dialog.

E-Math-American Mathematical Society- Events and updates, government affairs and education, employment and careers, and authors and reviews related to mathematics are found here.

Mathematics- Links to bibliographies, electronic journals, WWW resources, gophers, newsgroups and a software index related to mathematics is here at this complete math resource. Most links contain descriptions and grade level information.

The Geometry Center- The Geometry Center specializes in the use of technology to visualize and communicate mathematics and related sciences. Part of the mission of the Geometry Center is to develop software tools to support the  computation and visualization of mathematics. Downloadable programs are available here. This is a good resource for upper level math instructors.
